First lady Kim Keon-hee paid her respects on the grave of ex-President Roh Moo-hyun in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province on Monday and met alongside with his widow Kwon Yang-sook.
It used to be Kim’s first solo assignment as first lady.

She traveled there by bullet vow as allotment of a reconciliation force between conservatives and progressives by President Yoon Suk-yeol. Roh killed himself amid a corruption investigation in 2009 and stays a figurehead for many on the left.
“If President Roh used to be alive, I judge he would delight in knowledgeable President Yoon to alter into a ‘leader of unity’,” Kim knowledgeable his widow. “All and sundry beloved historical president Roh, who stressed out nationwide unity.”

She furthermore recalled being moved to tears by “The Licensed expert,” a 2013 biopic in protecting with Roh’s background as a human rights attorney.
